System Analyst

The position will offer a highly motivated professional the opportunity to support the delivery of revolutionary payment products. The System Analyst Function will be responsible for analyzing and developing business and system specifications that respect the business strategies and models. Analysts should be working closely with the tech team to be able to match business requirements with the technical capabilities. He/she should build a strong knowledge about the architecture and should be able to interpret business needs with the customers.

Responsibilities & Expectations

(This role will report to the CTO of the Company)

We are looking for a hero with strong and deep business analysis experience, as we would like to offer a long term engagement and career path. This person will have to:

  • Collect business requirements from the customers;
  • Prepares Functional Specification for the development team;
  • Escalate topics and produce decision documents;
  • Engage in subsystems’ design analysis and integration of the overall system;
  • Engage in data mapping and target data model design activities of the overall system;
  • Engage in overall testing of the tools and support the customers during the UAT of the
  • system/project;
  • Analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information and systems to achieve final technology/business solution;
  • Be the voice of the customer for the team; to understand why a particular feature is necessary, being able to explain the business context and translate business requirements into concrete user stories for the team in order to support the product roadmap;
  • Be responsible for the end-to-end customer experience and journey;
  • Support testing, training, and implementation activities, identify and document emerging business requirements to ensure the successful delivery of the overall business and technology solutions;
  • Evaluate stakeholder feedback and identify opportunities for improvement and enhancement;
  • Participate in feature prioritization: Present the vision to the teams, highlight any upcoming milestones, and approve prioritized quarterly objectives;
  • Work with relevant teams including IT, Operations and readiness teams to ensure product features and services are successfully launched to customers (either internal or external);
  • Accept individual features as “done” by ensuring they meet the acceptance criteria and have sufficient acceptance tests.
  • Act as the single source of truth for developers and answer all their questions.


  • Bachelor's Degree with focus on Business Administration, IT, Accounting or related area or equivalent professional experience;
  • Proven track record as a business analyst;
  • Business Analysis Skills;
  • Possess good knowledge of the Financial Industry;
  • Possess good knowledge of the Analytics Industry;
  • Strong experience in the payments industry including proven experience in payments via digital wallets, FX, cross border payments, and exposure to SEPA payments, ISO20022, global instant payments schemes;
  • Proven experience working within an Agile methodology environment (e.g. SCRUM, DSDM, Lean/Kanban);
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & oral) and stakeholder management with an ability to translate business needs to a technical team;
  • Results driven, with the ability to work toward goals in the face of adversity, obstacles;
  • Ability to adapt and readily integrate changes into work processes with good outcomes;
  • Experience in data flow process mapping, data transformation, migration and reconciliation;
  • Good technical understanding of web applications and APIs;
  • Great intellectual agility and attention to detail;
  • Open to feedback, able to deal with ambiguity and work on multiple concurrent activities;
  • Excellent planning, problem solving, organization, analytical and issue resolution skills;
  • Confident in working within a complex and evolving environment, to drive delivery of solutions;
  • Effective communication skills, proven ability to proactively deal with management ideas and recommendations for optimizing business operations;
  • Demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to resolve scheduling and other conflicts in order to meet all deadlines;
  • Ability to embrace change and ambiguity in an ecosystem that is rapidly evolving;
  • Working experience in using Jira and Confluence is a plus.
