Product Marketing Manager

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the commercial success of our products by crafting compelling narratives and executing go-to-market strategies. This includes positioning our products in the market, ensuring they resonate with the target audience, and driving user adoption through targeted marketing initiatives. The Product Marketing Manager works closely with the Product Development Manager and business customers to align marketing efforts with product development goals and overall business strategies.

Role Responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring alignment with the overall product development roadmap;
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends, providing insights that inform product positioning and strategy;
  • Craft clear and compelling product messaging that differentiates our products in the market and resonates with our target audience;
  • Work closely with the other product and creative teams to ensure effective execution of product marketing initiatives;
  • Develop high-quality marketing materials, including product brochures, case studies, blog posts, and sales presentations;
  • Design and implement user education programs, such as tutorials and product demos, to drive user engagement and adoption;
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of product marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve key business objectives;
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve product marketing efforts and support product development;
  • Participate in feature prioritization and collaborate with relevant teams, including IT, Operations, and Sales, to ensure successful product launches;
  • Ensuring that product marketing strategies are customer-centric and aligned with business goals;
  • Act as a supporting resource to the Product Manager in aligning the product vision with market needs and customer expectations;
  • Assist the Product Manager in writing user stories and epics that align with business requirements and provide clear, detailed specifications for the development team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with a focus on Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience;
  • At least 5 years of product/ marketing management experience;
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate product features into clear value propositions;
  • Deep understanding of market research, user personas, and customer segmentation;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling product narratives;
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results on time;
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure campaign performance and make data-driven decisions;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and marketing;
  • Passion for understanding customer needs and ensuring our products meet those needs;
  • Open to feedback, able to deal with uncertainty, and work on multiple concurrent activities;
  • Excellent planning, problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and issue-resolution skills.
