Product Owner - Acquiring Solutions

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with a robust background in acquiring solutions (online and PoS) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving product strategy, licensing and execution within the financial services or payments industry. This role is pivotal in shaping the strategy and execution of our acquiring solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for acquiring solutions;
  • Develop and lead the Cards Acquiring function from scratch;
  • Gather and prioritize product, CMO and customer requirements through active stakeholder engagement;
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to develop user-friendly interfaces that enhance the customer experience;
  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to guide product development from concept through launch, ensuring alignment and clarity across functions;
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities, ensuring our products remain industry-leading;
  • Develop business cases to support new product initiatives and enhancements;
  • Monitor product performance and gather user feedback to inform future iterations and improvements;
  • Develop and track sales pipeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus;
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, specifically within acquiring solutions or the payments industry;
  • Strong understanding of payment processing systems, merchant services, and the acquiring ecosystem;
  • Strong technical profile who understands the data exchange and flow in the cards payments business;
  • Demonstrated success in launching and managing complex products throughout their lifecycle;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels effectively;
  • Proven ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies;
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
