We are looking for an energetic, analytical, and results-driven professional to join our EMI as a Card Issuing Business Expert. In this role, you will be the "engine" behind our card products—the person who turns high-level strategy into a functioning, profitable business.
Reporting directly to the Head of Acquiring and Issuing, you will take ownership of the operational setup, business logic, and day-to-day coordination with card schemes (Visa/Mastercard). We are seeking a candidate with a sharp business sense who understands that a card is not just a piece of technology, but a key driver for revenue and customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
Card Product Management & Business Logic
Product Design: Contribute to defining card features (debit/virtual, Google/Apple Pay integration) and the end-to-end customer journey (onboarding to activation).
Business Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including transaction volumes, Interchange revenue, FX margins, and active user rates.
Pricing & Profitability: Propose and analyze fee structures and tariffs to optimize the product's bottom line while remaining competitive.
Operations & Partner Management
Vendor Management: Coordinate daily with card processors, card manufacturers (Bureaus), and logistics providers to ensure seamless card production and delivery.
Scheme Operations: Act as the primary point of contact for Visa/Mastercard regarding operational tasks, reporting, and compliance updates.
Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire card lifecycle, including ordering, shipping, blocking, and re-issuing processes.
Marketing & Growth Support
Go-to-Market (GTM): Assist in developing and executing launch campaigns to drive card adoption within our existing and new customer base.
Communication: Create content for marketing messages, FAQs, and user guides to educate customers on card benefits and usage.
Requirements
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Card Payments or Fintech (specifically in Product, Operations, or Business Development roles).
Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of how card settlement works, scheme fee structures, and basic EU payment regulations.
Business Mindset: Ability to see the "numbers behind the transactions" and propose ideas to increase profitability. Proactive Attitude:
Ability to work independently as an individual contributor, identify operational gaps, and offer ready-to-implement solutions.
Languages: Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential for international partner coordination.
What We Offer
Real Ownership: The chance to build a card program from the ground up that will be used by thousands of customers.
Mentorship: Direct collaboration and guidance from a seasoned leader in the Acquiring and Issuing industry.
Career Growth: Significant potential to grow into a Senior or Lead position as the card business scales.
